Happy Birthday To Me

One of my favorite stories.  It happened in 2015.  Such a memorable incident.

I took myself out to lunch on my birthday.  "It's a birthday treat for myself.  Make sure my food is great!" I jokingly requested the waitress when I placed the order.

She placed the order with the cook behind the counter, and added "Hey, make this order extra good, please!"

Cook looked up, "Why?  Someone you know?"

She smiled and turned to glance at me, "Sure. Why not?"

Cook looked at me, turned to Waitress, "Mm, good looking! … Is that your son-in-law?"

Waitress looked at me 😳, I looked at her 😳.  😂😂.  Cook heard my laugh 😳.  😭😭😭.

Yes, my food was GREAT!  Such wonderful people!
